What is an eligible referral?

If you’re referring a friend, they need to be a new customer that hasn’t settled a Daydream loan before. It can be buying their first home, refinancing an existing loan or purchasing an investment property.

Topping up an existing loan or splitting your loan on the same property doesn’t count.

What is not an eligible referral?

If you’re referring a friend, the referral wouldn’t be eligible if:

Your friend is not a new customer; either they’re currently a customer or have settled with us on an loan before;
Your friend has already been referred by you or someone else, or has already submitted an application;
There are any discrepancies between the details of the friend you referred and the customer that settled the loan;
There is only one referral reward per loan settlement.
Your friend didn’t settle their loan.

When do I receive my rewards?

Your reward will be gifted to you digitally or via mail within 30 days of the eligible loan's settlement date.

Once you have it, it’s up to you what you do with it! For privacy reasons, we can’t disclose the status of your friend’s application but once they settle, we’ll get in touch!

I referred a friend but didn't get a Daydream reward?

Most of the time this means your friend didn't submit their loan application or complete the home loan process.

Daydream Moments — Referral Program Terms & Conditions

You must have at least one open settled Daydream home loan to participate in Daydream Moments. As the Referrer, you are eligible for a gift card reward beginning at $200 for your first settled referral, increasing with each subsequent settled referral in accordance with the current Daydream Moments reward schedule.

Conditions for Referees (Your Friend)

The person you are referring, the Referee, must be a new customer that has not settled a Daydream home loan before. This does not include making changes to or topping up an existing Daydream home loan, splitting a loan on the same property, or a returning customer who previously closed a Daydream home loan due to refinance. You must complete the Daydream Moments referral form to be eligible.

The Referee is also eligible to start receiving a $200 gift card upon settlement of their Daydream home loan, subject to the same qualifying criteria above.

Stacking and Redemption

Gift card rewards may be redeemed individually or accumulated across multiple settled referrals before redemption. Accumulated rewards are subject to the gift card options available at time of redemption.

Payment

Payment of referral gift cards will only be made on settlement of the Referee's Daydream home loan and satisfaction of the qualifying criteria detailed above. Rewards will be gifted within 30 days of the applicable loan settlement date.

Cancellation

We may at our discretion cancel a reward payment without notice, including under the following circumstances:

We believe any of your access methods are fraudulent, or are suspected of being used in a fraudulent way
Your conduct is in breach of these terms and conditions
We believe the security or quality of Daydream's products or related services are threatened

General

Daydream Home Loans reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate Daydream Moments or these conditions at any time without notice. We will honour any valid referrals submitted before we do so. We will not honour any referrals deemed by us, in our absolute discretion, to be unreasonable, unlawful, at risk of requiring an Australian Credit Licence, or for any other reason not in the spirit of Daydream Moments.

Personal information collected through the Daydream Moments referral form will be handled in accordance with Daydream Home Loans' Privacy Policy.

Only one referral reward will be paid per settled loan. In the event of a dispute over referral attribution, Daydream Home Loans' decision is final. Accumulated gift card rewards that have not been redeemed within 24 months of the most recent settlement date may expire at Daydream Home Loans' discretion. We will make every attempt to contact you to settle before this occurs.

All other Daydream Home Loans Terms & Conditions remain valid and binding and are not superseded by these terms.
